Tick Tock its Treat O’Clock

Turning back the clocks at the end of October has the short-term pleasure of an extra hour in bed, but the longer-term pain of darker evenings and onset of winter. Coupled with that we are in the silly season of Halloween, bonfire and firework night, and trick or treat season. Oh what joy!


But at The Winery there are no tricks this November, only treats. It’s the season for comfort food, and we have an abundance of dishes to satisfy everybody. Our menu is perfect for those cold dark evenings when you need cheering up with a warm welcome and hearty meal. Why not try our famous fish pie, or the legendary slow braised blade of beef in real ale? Or even our Goan vegetable curry, perfect to warm any autumn evening.


Coupled with that we have an excellent selection of wines to suit every palate and every price bracket too, after all, we are The Winery! Enough said!
