I came for lunch today with two friends for lunch and once home, I feel compelled to e mail through my thanks for such a delicious meal! The food was excellent, the staff friendly and kind, the table spacious and comfortable . . . all in all it was a beautiful experience!!!!!

Just wanted to drop you a line to say a massive thank you for a fabulous Christmas meal on Monday 10th, all the staff from school said how wonderful the food, service and venue was, and they all insist that I should book my wedding with you soon!

Thank your staff for all the hard work on Friday night. Everyone is telling me this morning that they really enjoyed the evening. We will defiantly be back in the new year, and the tomato soup was fantastic!!

I am writing to thank you and your staff for hosting our wedding reception last Saturday evening. The building is amazing both inside and out, and the catering and table layout was first class. In particular we would like to thank your manager Lee who took care of us. He was courteous and professional ensuring that the food and drink service timings were perfect. Without hesitation or drama he took care of any requests or alterations we made as the evening went on. Pauline and I, along with all of our guests, had an amazing evening to remember. Kind regards.

“Excellent” – Beautiful venue, outstanding service. Very busy and great atmosphere. Sunday lunches are exceptional value for wonderful food. Nothing too much trouble. Seating it well thought out so that there is atmoshphere whilst still having lots of room. Visit in summer and sit in the gardens by the river. Absolute gem of a place.

“A Day to Remember” – Had our wedding reception at the Winery and it was nothing short of fantastic Our 20 guests and ourselves could not fault the beautiful food and surroundings and the service was the best I've ever had. Thanks to everyone at the Winery for making our day so memorable.

Very impressed - great restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere & excellent wine list. The food was first class - steaks were cooked perfectly & the scallops starter was really tasty.

Why did I not know of this place before? Overall the Winery is a fun place full of character that will give you a quality meal without breaking the bank. We will be back!!

Outstanding Service and Excellent Food - We booked Sunday lunch for 15 people to celebrate our sons christening and were thrilled with the attentive and personal service we received on the day. Several guests commented on the thoughtfullness of the waiter assigned to our table. Little things like getting a seat for a tired great grandad and looking after a pregnant lady made a huge impact. The food was excellent, especially the beef and impressed even the most ardent foodies in the group. We will definitely be back.

“Good Food” – good food very friendly i used to come to this venue years ago it is much better now. A real meeting point for friends.

“Family Friendly” – I visited the winery at a busy lunch with my 15month old daughter and was pleasantly surprised that they had a young diners menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I thoughly enjoyed my food. The chef even modified the children's risotto dish for my daughter so that it was more to her taste. I felt I could really relax. Truely delighted with both the service and the atmosphere.

Thank you for a wonderful Xmas meal. We all agreed it was the best meal we have all recently had. The food was fantastic, the ambiance very cheerful and relaxed. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. We will definitely be back next Xmas. Lindsey Wright
